WordPress Training

Getting Up and Running with WordPress is a one and a half day, hands-on course, delivered in your office or home, on a 1 to 1, personal basis, that will enable you to professionally set up and manage a WordPress site.

INP Training assisted me to develop a functional WordPress website in under 2 days. They made the learning experience interesting and accessible. In under 2 days I now have a working knowledge of how to set up and develop a WordPress blog/website.

Your trainer’s focus will be exclusively on you and your needs – without the requirement to accommodate a range of interests and ability levels involved in group training.

To get the maximum benefit from this course, we would strongly recommend having a gap of around a week between the first day’s training and the second, half day session. This will enable the lessons from the first day to be fully absorbed and any issues or questions identified.

Training is available in the West Midlands area. We may be able to deliver in other areas, although this will probably incur additional costs for travel and accommodation.

Who this course is NOT for…

This course does not cover programming, coding or the creation of theme designs so, if you work or have aspirations in this area, this is not the course for you.

What else will you get from the course?

a WordPress site, installed on our hosting account, for approximately 3 months, which will enable you to practise and refine your skills
a range of plugins you can use not only on your test site but which you will find invaluable on any ‘live’ WordPress site you subsequently create. These will include:

- search engine optimisation

- contact forms

- Lightbox

- database backups

- social media

- Google Analytics

- sitemap generation

a training web site at http://www.inptraining999.com which contains full, detailed handouts for you to print and refer to and a forum where you can post questions and requests for assistance on any aspect of the course agenda.

Course Cost and Payment

The total cost of the training is £250.

When we have received your application and confirmed the initial training day, we will send you an electronic invoice for £150.

A further electronic invoice of £100 will be sent after the first training session once the date of the second training session has been agreed,
